In 2006, I ran a contest here on my website (and shame on you if you didn't enter). Get a copy of Murder On The Mind in your library and you win a bottle of Anchor Bar wing sauce.
The winner is none other than Mrs. Alaska 2006, Michelle Martin! Here she is reading a copy of the book while appearing at a parade in Anchorage. (It was -13 at the time.)
