-- Ellen Westphal, Sisters In Crime, Internet Chapter  Lorraine Bartlett, also writing as L.L. Bartlett, honed her characterization and plotting skills in the amateur realm, then as a frequent writer for romance magazines. Her manuscript, Murder in Morton Mills, a traditional mystery, was a finalist in the St. Martin's/Malice Domestic contest. Her short story, Cold Case, featuring Jeff Resnick, appeared in Mystery in Mind: A Collection of Mysteries of the Paranormal, an anthology published in spring 2003. Her first novel, Murder On The Mind, featuring Jeff Resnick, was published in November 2005 by Five Star Mysteries. Its sequel, Dead in Red, will be published in June 2008. Her new Tricia Miles mystery bookseller mystery series, written under the pen name Lorna Barrett, will debut April 2008.
Bartlett lives in Rochester, NY, and is a member of Mystery Writers of America and Sisters in Crime. She is represented by the Bookends Literary Agency.  Ooh! A Freebies Contest!
